What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit. They help the site work properly, remember your preferences and tell us how the site is used. Similar technologies, such as tracking pixels and local storage, work in a similar way and are covered by this policy.

How we use cookies

We use a small number of cookies, which fall into the following categories.

Strictly necessary cookies

These are needed for the website to work, for example to keep the site secure, remember your cookie choices and allow our forms to be submitted. They cannot be switched off, but they do not store information that identifies you.

Analytics cookies

We use Jetpack Stats, provided by Automattic, to understand how many people visit our website and which pages are most useful. This information is aggregated and does not tell us who you are. We only use analytics cookies where you have agreed to them.

Third-party content

Some pages include content from other providers, which may set their own cookies when the content loads or when you interact with it:

• Google Maps – to show our location and provide directions.
• Google reviews – to display reviews left by our patients.
• WhatsApp – if you choose to message us through WhatsApp, you will be taken to a service run by Meta.

We do not control these cookies. Please see the privacy policies of Google and WhatsApp for more information.

Managing cookies

You can change your cookie choices at any time using the cookie settings link on our website. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Guidance for the most common browsers is available at ico.org.uk. Blocking some cookies may affect how parts of the website work, such as maps and reviews.
