Our commitment

At Six Ways Dental Practice we take complaints seriously. We will listen, treat you with courtesy and respect, and deal with your concerns promptly, fairly and confidentially. Making a complaint will not affect the care you receive from us.

How to make a complaint

You can raise a concern in person, by telephone, by email or in writing. Please give as much detail as you can, including dates and the names of anyone involved. Complaints should normally be made within 12 months of the event, or within 12 months of you becoming aware of it.

Complaints are handled personally by our practice leadership team. If you are complaining on behalf of someone else, we will need their written consent, unless they are unable to give it.

What happens next

  • We will acknowledge your complaint within 3 working days.
  • We will investigate your concerns thoroughly and may offer a meeting to discuss them.
  • We aim to give you a full written response within 10 working days. If our investigation will take longer, we will explain why and keep you updated.
  • Our response will explain what we found, any action we are taking and, where appropriate, an apology.

If you are not satisfied

We hope to resolve every complaint within the practice. If you are not happy with our response, you can take your complaint further.
